OUR CENTER

At Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation - Federal Heights, we can accommodate 110 patients and residents. We are located near three hospitals in the Salt Lake Valley and are fully Medicare and Medicaid certified. We are proud of our reputation for providing quality, compassionate care. In 2010, we were awarded the HealthInsight Quality Award and also the Bronze – Commitment to Quality award from the American Health Care Association.

Today, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers have expanded services beyond care for long-term residents; we also help people recover from surgery, injury or serious illness. We offer on-site physical, occupational and speech therapies, 24-hour licensed nursing staff coverage. We have therapeutic recreation, in-house social services, registered dietitian services and many other professional services.

Our center specializes in providing nursing services for complex medical and rehabilitation conditions. Our discharge planning team works with our patient and his or her family in determining the future needs and goals upon discharge.

Our team of professionals understands the importance of creating a warm, comfortable place for all we serve, whether they are here for short-term treatment, or long-term care. For our patients’ and residents’ comfort, we have cable televisions and telephones in every room. Private suites are also available upon request.
